SABINE LERIBAUX ELECTED TITULARY MEMBER OF THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF BELGIUM

The « Académie royale des Sciences, des Lettres et des Beaux-Arts de Belgique » was founded in 1769 by Marie-Therese d’Autriche (pictured here) with a mission to promote a broad, transversal spectrum of research and initiatives at both national and international levels. Recognising her « competencies, expertise and engaged career in architecture Â», partner Sabine Leribaux was officially welcomed October 1st, 2022 by the Academy and the Classe des Arts she joins at a ceremony marked by inspirational speeches steeped with clear calls for action from Didier Viviers (Secrétaire perpétuel de l’Académie), Isabelle Ferreras (Présidente de l’Académie and Directrice de la Classe Technologie et Société) and Irina Scherbakova (founding member of Memorial, Nobel Peace Prize 2022 ). Sabine is looking forward to the wide-ranging transversal exchanges ahead, and to supporting the institution’s engaged pursuits.
