architectesassoc. , 51N4E, and Stephane Beel have won an invited competition organized by AG Real Estate and Vooruitzicht for the design of 28000 sqm of mostly housing alongside the canal. Apartments (passive) are positionned around a federating but not completely enclosed central patio which will be open to the public day-time. Lengthy discussions and work sessions between offices and an invested client have given rise to a fine-tuned project which should go on site before end 2015 (phase I).
